In November 2013, McMaster University and the School of the Arts received a generous gift from philanthropist and McMaster alumnus Robert Fitzhenry.  The gift will establish the Dr. Robert and Andrée Rhéaume Fitzhenry Studios and Atrium, a light-filled space devoted to painting, sculpture and other media. There, students will collaborate with others, showcase their work, discuss and interpret art. This February, a design charrette will be held by the Architects designing this exciting new space.

This full day event will brainstorm ideas for the addition and renovations of the art studios at McMaster with workshops in the morning and a sharing of ideas scheduled in the afternoon (lunch provided). Joining us will be faculty, students, community members, the architectural team, the project team and other stakeholders from various facility and administrative services at McMaster.

Members of the general public are welcome to drop in and observe the process.
